Skype wants to raise $100m in NYSE listing

The famous Internet phone services provider Skype would raise an estimated $100m through a listing on the Nasdaq exchange.
Skype announced on Monday that it had filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a proposed initial public offering of its ordinary shares.

The number of shares to be offered and the price range were not yet disclosed. Investment banks like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley… will coordinate the listing and will help Skype to place the shares.

Skype was founded in 2003 by Scandinavians entrepreneurs and already has more than 560 million registered users. The main Skype services are : free video calling, free Skype-to-Skype calling, conference calls, instant messaging, voicemail, SMS (text messaging), calls transfer, calls landlines and mobile...
These services are available on computers and smartphones.
